Plagiarism refers to the act of using the writing, song, idea, and conversation and taking it as if it is yours. This information is from websites, songs, books, email messages, television, artworks, articles, interviews and other media (Weber, 2014).Whenever one is giving a summary, takes words, images, video, Photograph, audio, paraphrases or takes a sentence from someone elses work, it is very important for the source of that information to be indicated in that paper using in-citation. List the source of the information at the bibliography is not enou gh, one needs to cite, quote or acknowledge the work that he/she has used and is not his/hers. If this is not done, then that is plagiarism. It is very easy to avoid plagiarism, just make an acknowledgment that certain information has been borrowed and give the recipients of that information a lead on how to get that source. Plagiarism is therefore, an act that is regarded as a fraud because it involves stealing work that belongs to somebody and then lying about it. It is the highest form of intellectual dishonest. Students who are involved in plagiarism should have a notation on academic misconduct placed on their transcripts so that they are not able to transfer to another college or university. Such a plagiarist should not be refunded any fees when expelled. For the international students, they should be deported so that they can face ultimate embarrassment.
